England boss Fabio Capello impressed with Aston Villa's James Milner
Three Lions boss loving what he sees of young winger...
England manager Fabio Capello has spoken out in praise of Aston Villa midfielder James Milner.
The versatile Yorkshireman was on the left wing of Capello's line-up against Brazil at the weekend and his manager feels that he acquitted himself well despite the 1-0 defeat, especially as he was lining up against Maicon.
"James Milner is improving," the Italian said, according to The Daily Mail.
"Maicon is one of the best right-backs in the world. He is very fast. He is a good defender and when he goes forward he is really dangerous.
"But Milner played well. He is a good player too."
Milner's versatility could well see him seal a place on the plane to South Africa next summer.
The Villa man has featured at right-back and left-back as well in midfield for England in recent games.
