Atletico Madrid star Sergio Aguero doubtful for Chelsea clash - report

Kun Aguero, Atletico de Madrid (MARCA)

New Atletico Madrid coach Quique Sanchez Flores could be without one half of his first-choice strike partnership against Chelsea, with Sergio Aguero struggling to be fit.

AS reports that 'Kun' trained less intensely than his team-mates in their most recent training session, in order to combat his muscular problems – but apparently the situation has not improved.

As a result, the mercurial Argentine could start on the bench, with Jose Manuel Jurado a likely replacement in the starting line-up.

Meanwhile, Didier Drogba is available for Carlo Ancelotti's side after the striker serving out his three-match ban.

The Ivorian will certainly test Atletico's defence to a greater extent than Athletic Bilbao managed at the weekend in La Liga, although Sanchez Flores is likely to keep the same back-line as he sent out at San Mames.
