Draxler & Reus left out of Germany squad for Chile friendly

The pair have only recently returned to full fitness and will not feature against Jorge Sampaoli's side next week, but Joachim Low has called up four new faces
Germany coach Joachim Low has left Julian Draxler and Marco Reus out of his squad for Wednesday's international friendly against Chile, while the injured Thomas Muller also misses out.

Schalke star Draxler recently returned to full match fitness after spending several weeks out with an ankle injury, and started in the German side's 6-1 demolition at the hands of Real Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Reus returned to action recently, too, and scored in Borussia Dortmund's 4-2 Champions League win at Zenit St Petersburg, but Low has opted not to take any risks with him or Draxler.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger returns after missing Germany's last game due to physical problems.

Furthermore, Matthias Ginter (Freiburg), Shkodran Mustafi (Sampdoria), Pierre-Michel Lasogga (Hamburg) and Andre Hahn (Augsburg) could all make their debut for Low's side after receiving their first call-up.
