The Barcelona star insisted his nation will not suffer from stage fright in their bid to win the tournament on home turf and says the Selecao are not afraid of any sideNeymar has claimed Brazil will approach the World Cup with no fear this summer.
The Barcelona star was looking ahead to his debut World Cup campaign whilst attending the Ballon d’Or ceremony on Monday and revealed that excitement is his primary emotion ahead of the tournament.
Speaking to reporters, the 21 year-old said: "Playing in a World Cup is a great privilege for a player. It's a moment I will never forget. It's a massive competition.
“Obviously there is expectation but we are dealing with it and looking forward to it. There is no fear.”
Brazil have won a record five World Cups, last lifting the coveted trophy in 2002 and Neymar is upbeat about his nation's chances of success on the back of last summer's Confederations Cup victory.
He added: “The squad is full of some of the best players. We are all going to try and enjoy what we hope will be a truly memorable occasion.
“We don't care who we play, we will meet anybody. There are so many other great teams there, as long as we are in the final I don't mind."
