The Three Lions have been handed a tough task, coming up against two former champions and the Latin American outfit in BrazilEngland will face Italy, Uruguay and Costa Rica in the group stages of the 2014 World Cup following Friday's draw in Costa do Sauipe.
Roy Hodgson's men will begin their campaign agaist three-time champions Italy in Manaus on June 14th, before travelling to Sao Paulo to face seeds Uruguay five days later.
The Three Lions will then face Costa Rica for the first time in a competitive match in Belo Horizonte on June 24th.
England have qualified from the group stages at each of the last four World Cups but will have to acclimatise to humid conditions in their opening clash against Cesare Prandelli's side, which will kick off at 2am GMT.
The crucial clash with Uruguay will be the sides' first meeting since a 0-0 draw at the 1966 World Cup, but England have never beaten the South American giants in a competitive fixture.
Arsenal star Jack Wilshere tweeted his reaction immediately after the draw, admitting that the Three Lions face a tough task.
"Tough group...but so what? If we want to win it we will have to play the best teams anyway!!," he said.
