"I'm not bothered about the speculation," Prandelli stated. "I am solely concentrating on our World Cup qualifiers.
"I know that I have a job which attracts a lot of rumours but I have not yet decided what I will do."
Prandelli, who is credited with breathing fresh life into Italy's national team following a disastrous World Cup campaign in 2010, went on to claim that the players are equally deserving of praise for the country's resurgence on the international scene.
"The guys have helped me a lot," he added. "They all know their abilities and a coach looks very good when he has players like that."
