The Blues defender enjoyed a fine first season at Stamford Bridge by winning the Europa League but says that he is expecting the Special One to deliver more silverware
The Special One's long-mooted return to Stamford Bridge was confirmed at the beginning of June following his exit from Real Madrid and the full-back, who featured heavily under Europa League-winning interim boss Rafa Benitez, believes that the Portuguese can help the Londoners to scale new heights.
"The season just gone was something different because we were eliminated in the group stage of the Champions League and that doesn't usually happen," he told Marca.
"I hope that next season is very good. In the dressing room we have spoken a little about [Mourinho] and everybody is very happy with his first spell at Chelsea. We hope that the second time is also successful."

"The first two months were hard," he admitted. "I played two games at that time. Then I won the confidence of [former boss Roberto] Di Matteo and I played in his last games as Chelsea manager.
"When Benitez arrived I played a load of games. We had six games in 18 days and I played all six. It's clear that it was a little tiring because it's hard but I love it.
"I knew Juan Mata and Oriol Romeu from the Spanish youth teams. I didn't know Fernando Torres but, from the first day, those three helped me. There are also Spanish medical staff."
Azpilicueta is now hoping to win his first international title by helping Spain to success in the Confederations Cup and says that Vicente del Bosque's men are not phased by the pressure on their shoulders.
"Failure is not the word because this team has made history in the last three competitions. We have won the three that we have played and it's clear that, the more you win, the more you've got to lose," he remarked.
"We're not thinking about that, just about the next game. You have to go step by step, that's the key to our success. In the other group, Italy were finalists in the Euros and Brazil the hosts with a lot of desire. They are very tough rivals and the semi-finals will be very difficult."
