Iniesta excited for Neymar match-up

Speaking before the official announcement of the latest Barcelona signing, the Spaniard was relishing the prospect of potentially facing Brazil in the Confederations Cup
Andres Iniesta has revealed that he is relishing the prospect of potentially playing against his new Barcelona team-mate Neymar in this summer's Confederations Cup.

Speaking before the Catalunya club's official announcement that they have signed the attacker from Santos on Sunday, the long-serving Camp Nou star believes that a Spain-Brazil clash would be mouth-watering but is aware that they need to reach the knockout rounds first.

"For me and for every player, to go and play football in Brazil is unique," he said in a Google+ chat with fans. "First the Confederations Cup and then to be able to go to the World Cup will be magical.

"Brazil is special for everybody. It would be amazing to play some big games in the Maracana, because it would mean the team had gone far in both tournaments.

"It would be great to play against Neymar and the Brazil side, for everything they represent and how good they are. Spain-Brazil would be a cracking game, but we need to see how the group stage goes."

Neymar, who has been named in Selecao coach Luiz Felipe Scolari's Confederations Cup squad, has joined the Blaugrana on a five-year deal after rejecting overtures from Real Madrid.
