The Roja boss had previously said he would call it a day after the 2014 World Cup but has now insisted that he will not make a decision until after the tournament
The Roja boss had previously stated that he would leave the job after the tournament to work for the Spanish Football Federation but has now hinted that he is yet to make a decision about the future.
"I'm not sure whether I'll go after the World Cup in Brazil in 2014," he was quoted as saying by Sport.
Del Bosque went on to say that any discussion of his future will be delayed until after the tournament was over, with Spain bidding for a fourth straight major tournament.
"If we qualify for 2014, in the World Cup we want to defend the title we won in South Africa and from there, in June or July 2014, we will talk about the future."
Del Bosque took over as Spain boss in 2008 after the departure of Luis Aragones and has led his country to World Cup success in 2010 and Euro 2012.
