thumbnail Hello,

The Group F clash has been called off for the second time as a result of ice forming on the pitch in Belfast following heavy snowfall, and is likely to be rescheduled for June

Northern Ireland's World Cup qualifier against Russia has been postponed for a second time.

The game was originally scheduled for Friday night but was called off due to the snow preventing the pitch from being in a suitable condition to be played on, with both teams confirming that the abandoned game would be held at 3pm on Saturday afternoon.

However, the Irish FA confirmed via their Twitter page on Saturday morning that the rescheduled game was also cancelled as ice had formed on the pitch, creating a hazard for the players.

The home side are also in action on Tuesday evening at Windsor Park, where Northern Ireland host Israel.
