Fifa rankings don't do justice to Netherlands, insists Van Gaal

The Oranje boss does not believe that his team deserve to have fallen down the international ratings after winning every competitive match in his reign began in 2012
Netherlands coach Louis van Gaal claimes that the Fifa world rankings do not reflect how well his side have been playing since he took over in 2012.

Oranje are currently listed as the world's eighth-best team. despite having a 100 per cent record in their World Cup qualifying campaign ahead of Friday's match against Estonia, much to the bemusement of the former Ajax boss.

"Oranje were sixth at the time I started, now we're eighth, while no official matches have been lost," he told AD.

"This makes me
wonder to what extent it is a real reflection."

Van Gaal's side clash with Estonia at 20.30CET on Friday at the Amsterdam ArenA.
