Shaquille Coulthirst led Tottenham's youngsters to a stunning win over Barcelona in Spain, firing home a perfect hat-trick in a crushing 4-1 victory at the Mini Estadi.
The young Lillywhites raced into a four-goal lead courtesy of the forward, who gave the visitors the lead with a quick-fire double just shy of the half-hour mark. He completed his treble on the hour with a header, before Alex Pritchard capped a memorable performance 17 minutes from time.
Cristian notched a consolation goal for the hosts two minutes from time, but the victory moves Spurs level with the Catalans on eight points at the top of Group A with one game remaining.
"We were outstanding," coach Alex Inglethorpe told the club's official website.
"Barcelona bossed the first 20 minutes and I thought we were a little like a rabbit caught in the headlights, we froze, but the important thing is that we didn’t give up during that spell.
"Overall, we were excellent. We were confident we could produce a performance here and the players have done it in style."
The result componded a miserable night for the Catalan giants, whose first team suffered a shock 2-1 defeat against Celtic in the Champions League at Parkhead.
