The Bundesliga side got creative during a training session, deciding to aim their shots at a different size net - by playing a totally different sport
Already nine points adrift in the Bundesliga table, Borussia Dortmund took time out of training to show off their basketball skills - perhaps looking for help getting more three pointers on the board!
However, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and his team-mates did not have a basketball to hand - so instead improvised with the football they had been using in training.
The top scorer in the German top-flight this season, Aubameyang showed that he has the ability, and reach, to get the ball into the hoop, but with BVB underperforming, maybe the players should have used their training time to focus on their football skills?
Borussia Dortmund host Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday, looking to climb back up the table after an inconsistent start.
Thomas Tuchel's side have drawn their last two Bundesliga games, and sit seventh in the table. However, the comeback of Marco Reus in their Champions League game against Legia Warsaw provided some hope - as the Germany international scored a hat-trick on his return from injury.
Whether their basketball improvisation can help matters is a different story, but with Dortmund underperforming, it surely cannot make them any worse!
