thumbnail Hello,

The Uruguay international had been linked with a move away from Anfield following a succession of controversies but perhaps they will be hanging onto him after all...

Liverpool fans praying that Luis Suarez will remain at the club were given hope that he will still be at Anfield next season following the release of images of the Uruguay international in the club's new kit.

The forward's future has been the subject of much conjecture following the 10-game ban that he received in late April for biting the arm of Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic.

Goal.com understands that the Merseyside club would be willing to listen to marquee offers for the 26-year-old but tantalising new images of the kit that Liverpool will wear in 2013-14 have Suarez as one of the centrepieces and suggest that the former Ajax man very much remains in the plans of manager Brendan Rodgers.

The new strip, design by Boston-based company Warrior Sports, who agreed a £25-million-a-year deal to supply Liverpool's kit in August 2011, is based on the shirts worn during the club's fourth European Cup win back in 1984 - though, with Champions League qualification out of the window, the likes of Suarez and Steven Gerrard will not have the chance to emulate their predecessors.

Reds fans might be less keen on the sight of Pepe Reina in the new kit, however, given the number of errors and mistakes that the goalkeeper has made this season.
