Germany striker Lukas Podolskihas proven footballers embarrassing themselves in music videos is not just an English trait by appearing in a specially made song for Euro 2012.
The Arsenal new boy collaborated with Cologne based band Brings, and provided vocals to re-release their 2009 track 'Hallelujah'.
Gunners fans will be hoping his performances on the pitch at the Emirates are a lot better than his singing and dancing moves in the four-minute video.
Podolski approached Brings, who performed a specially made track for the striker's former team FC Koln last season, a month before Euro 2012 began in the hope of reviving the tune.
Busting a move in a move in a white t-shirt and tartan tie, his new band-mates were impressed by his antics on the microphone and in front of the camera and stated that he must have had previous experience.
Brings said: "He must have practised in front of the mirror! We were all a bit worried but he was like a professional.
"He came out and moved well, danced well and seemed like he never did anything else."
The 27-year-old joins England teams from down the years and Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan who've ventured into the musical world, with mixed success.
