The football federation of the African nation have confirmed that they are investigating alleged corruption claims stemming from World Cup games in Brazil this summer

In the 4-0 defeat by Croatia, Alex Song was sent off while team-mates Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Benjamin Moukandjo extraordinarily clashed with each other.
The statement added: "We wish to inform the general public that, though not yet contacted by Fifa in regards to this affair, our administration has already instructed its Ethics Committee, to further investigate these accusations.
"We are strongly committed to employ all means necessary to resolve this disruptive matter in the shortest delays."
