The Costa Rica winger insists that his side will start with a sizable advantage in Recife due to the climactic conditions as the top two in Group D go head-to-head
Christian Bolanos believes Costa Rica can take advantage of their familiarity with the intense heat of Recife as they look to surprise Italy on Friday.
The Central American nation stunned Uruguay in their opening World Cup group D fixture in Fortaleza, coming from behind to register a 3-1 win.

"We have to take advantage of the climate, as it's really hot here," said Bolanos. "We know that the climate will be in favour of Costa Rica, and we have to take advantage of that.
"People from Europe would find this type of climate tough. For Costa Rica it is much more similar to what we are used to.
"The Europeans have to adapt a little bit more. It isn't a secret - it is extra to the football. You have to change some things a little bit because of that. We know that are we have to take advantage of that."
Italy remain favourites to top Group D having overcome England in their opening fixture, but Bolanos is not overawed by the challenge they will pose.
"Italy have really good players like Giorgio Chiellini and Mario Balotelli, but it is a football match," he added.
"We have to be captains on the pitch. We can't be preoccupied with Andrea Pirlo. If we talk about every man we wouldn't stop talking.
"They have many good players and we respect them, but we have to make life complicated for them as we did to Uruguay."
