The former Arsenal midfielder is happy with the way that things are going with La Furia Roja and expects a difficult match in their World Cup qualifier against France on Tuesday
The 25-year-old made his 73rd international appearance for the La Roja in their 4-0 World Cup qualifying win over Belarus on Friday but feels that he could have played even more games had he not been plagued by injury.
"I'm actually a bit annoyed [with the number of international appearances], because if I hadn't been injured it could have been more. But I'm happy. I feel valued within the team," the Barcelona midfielder was quoted as saying by AS.
Fabregas was satisfied with his team's performance in Minsk, observing: "We had a good game. We're happy with the way we played but I don't think it was a stroll.

"We need to carry on doing that. We're going well, but we know we're playing our main rivals in the group [France] next and that they have a great team.
"We had a difficult time of it getting past them in the European quarter-finals. We need to follow our style of play to beat them."
Tuesday's encounter is scheduled to kick off at 20.00BST.
