thumbnail Hello,

The City star is one of two changes to the Albiceleste outfit that was held to a draw in their last outing, while Oscar Tabarez must make several changes to his team due to injury

Argentina's fearsome attacking trio of Lionel Messi, Gonzalo Higuain and Sergio Aguero will be reunited in Mendoza in the latest World Cup qualifier, as 'El Kun' re-enters the team that will hope to pick up three points in Friday's Rioplatense clasico against Uruguay.

The Manchester City striker was forced to miss both of the team's last official matches through injury, replaced by Ezequiel Lavezzi as Argentina beat Paraguay 3-1 before being held to a 1-1 draw by Peru. Fit once more, however, he replaces the Paris Saint-Germain man in Alejandro Sabella's starting XI as the coach kicks off with an attacking 4-3-3 set-up.

Aguero is one of just two changes to the team which tied in Peru, the second switch occurring at right-back. Another injury casualty in Lima, Pablo Zabaleta returns to the fold ahead of Hugo Campagnaro.

Injuries and suspensions to several key players, meanwhile, have forced Uruguay's Oscar Tabarez to change his hand ahead of a tough away clash. Alvaro Pereira, Diego Perez and Gaston Ramirez are all unavailable, and will be replaced by Martin Caceres, Walter Gargano and Alvaro Gonzalez.

Argentina (4-3-3): Romera; Zabaleta, Garay, Fernandez, Rojo; Gago, Mascherano, Di Maria; Messi, Higuain, Aguero.

Uruguay (4-4-2): Muslera; M. Pereira, Lugano, Godin, Caceres; Cavani, Gargano, Arevalo, Gonzalez; Forlan, Suarez.
