Argentina coach Sergio Batista has confirmed he will not make changes to his starting XI for the quarter-final match against Uruguay.
The boss had changed a total of four players for the last group encounter, against Costa Rica, after watching his team be held to draws in their first two matches.
Strikers Gonzalo Higuain and Sergio Aguero replaced Carlos Tevez and Ezequiel Lavezzi, while in midfield Fernando Gago and Angel di Maria started instead of Ever Banega and Esteban Cambiasso.
Such a move paid off, as Argentina put together an improved display against Costa Rica, with Aguero and Di Maria scoring the goals that sent the team through to the knock-out stage.
Batista tweeted late on Thursday that he is 'very happy with Argentina's display against Costa Rica' and will use the same formula as a result.
Argentina line-up against Uruguay: Romero; Zabaleta, Burdisso, Gabriel Milito, Zanetti; Gago, Mascherano; Aguero, Messi, Di Maria; Higuain.
