Argentina coach Sergio Batista has admitted he hopes his side will reach the Copa America final.

The South American side have been under fire of late after being held to draws in their first two Copa America matches, against Bolivia and Colombia.

Batista underlined he has no doubts about the potential of his team and stated Argentina can still go all the way in the event.

"I continue as convinced as I was before the tournament. In the friendly matches, we demonstrated that we can play good football," he told TyC Sports.

"Now we have four finals ahead, and the first one is Monday, against Costa Rica. I see myself in the Copa America final... that is a title we need."

Questioned about the changes that will have to happen for the upcoming encounter, Batista noted he will have to work to improve his side's resolve.

"There could be some changes but we will keep the same mentality," he explained.

"We will have several talks with the players to boost the morale, that is something fundamental."
