Hungarian striker came close to scoring an incredible goal
Tamas Priskin capped off an impressive Ipswich performance with the match-winner against Arsenal on Wednesday night, scoring the only goal of the League Cup semi-final first leg at Portman Road.
The Hungarian striker would though have been even more of a hero had he notched what would have been an incredible goal just before half-time.
Although he was standing in an offside position, Priskin received the ball in the area with his back to goal, headed the ball up and then slammed a cracking overhead kick past Wojciech Szczesny.
Priskin appeared to realise that he was offside but showed disappointment as he is unlikely to score a better goal than this in his career.
He is in incredible form having scored in his previous eight games for Ipswich.
Tamas Priskin's brilliant disallowed goal is on the video below.
