Northern Ireland schedule Netherlands friendly
Brendan Rodgers declined the opportunity to succeed Nigel Worthington as Northern Ireland boss after being offered a part-time role
By Chris Davie
The fixture will be held in Amsterdam as part of Netherlands's Euro 2012 preparations next summer.
Northern Ireland are currently without a manager after Nigel Worthington stepped down in October after four years in the role.
Swansea City boss Brendan Rodgers was a frontrunner to succeed Worthington but he declined the offer after revealing the part-time role did not match the stature of the task involved with managing Northern Ireland.
