MLS suspends Galaxy's Beckham for one game

The English DP will miss one match for his actions against San Jose.
The Major League Soccer Disciplinary Committee has decided to suspend and fine Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder David Beckham for one game and an undisclosed amount for his behavior in his team's 4-3 loss to the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday.

Beckham's suspension will take place when the Galaxy travel to Chicago to take on the Fire on July 7th. Per the League's press release on the matter, Beckham's behavior was dubbed, "unacceptable and detrimental to the League’s public image."

The Committee also handed out fines to Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena and Montreal Impact head coach Jesse Marsch for publicly criticizing league officials.
