David Beckham is pushing for Ronaldinho to join Los Angeles Galaxy this summer, something which has instigated Milan offering him a new and improved deal.

According to claims from the Brazilian's brother and agent, Roberto De Assis, the playmaker's future at the San Siro is hanging in the balance this summer.

However, Ronaldinho is prepared to sit down with Milan CEO Adriano Galliani to discuss the way forward as his current deal expires in 2011 and the club are not keen on losing him for free next term.

De Assis claims a new package is on the horizon for the flamboyant Brazil international, but should the latest negotiations prove fruitless, he will be considering offers from elsewhere with reported interest for the star to join the MLS.

"Milan have proposed a new deal until 2013 and we said we will speak about this in December," De Assis told Calcionews24.com.

"Nothing has changed for us. We will not talk with other clubs if Milan maintain their line. We have good relations with Milan, and my brother wants to remain there.

"The MLS? We met many people in the USA and for sure [David] Beckham is pressing for 'Dinho to move there soon. If we don't find an agreement with Milan then it [MLS] could be an option for next season."

Thierry Henry recently turned his back on European football to complete a move to the New York Red Bulls and Beckham wants 'Dinho to follow him to the States.

However, Sky Sport Italia reports both 'Dinho and his brother will arrive in Milan on Sunday, where they will meet Galliani to share ideas for the future.

On Thursday Galliani said: "Ronaldinho is not going anywhere," confirming the club's wishes to keep him on.
