The friendly clash will be the Red Devils' sole appearance down under as they prepare for the 2013-14 Premier League season.
The game, which will mark the club's fifth visit to Australia, will take place at the ANZ Stadium in Sydney on July 20.
And the club's chief executive David Gill expressed delight at making a return, telling the club's official website: "The game and training camp that will take place in Sydney will be an important part of the team’s preparation for the 2013/14 season.
