Messi included in Barcelona's squad for Raja match

The Argentine prodigy has finally shrugged off his calf problem and could feature for the club for the first time this pre-season on Saturday
Barcelona ace Lionel Messi has been included in Tito Vilanova's 22-man squad for Saturday's pre-season friendly against Moroccan side Raja Athletic Club.

The diminutive attacker sat out of the club's 2-1 victory against Hamburg on Tuesday because of a calf injury and only resumed individual training on Thursday.

He is one of the nine players from Barca's first team who will fly into Tanjiers on Saturday, with a total of 13 players from the club's youth ranks completing the match squad.

David Villa and Carles Puyol, on the other hand, have been omitted from the list, and there is still no estimation as to when the Spanish duo will be able to return to action.

Before the club's first official clash, on August 18, the Blaugrana will also take on Espanyol, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Dinamo Bucharest.
