The Cottagers drew 0-0 in the first match of their German tour against Danish side, HB Koge as they prepare for another Premier League campaign under Dutch manager Martin JolFulham opened their pre-season tour of Germany with a goalless draw with Danish side HB Koge in Leipzig on Sunday.
Veteran Australian goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer captained a Cottagers’ side which featured a mix of first-team and fringe players.
The first half was a drab affair, with Marcello Trotta, who impressed in a loan spell at Wycombe last season, going close when he saw a volley well saved by the Danes' goalkeeper.
Fulham manager Martin Jol changed the entire side at half time, which saw the introduction of two debutants in former Hamburg forward Mladen Petric and former FC Koln defender Sascha Riether.
Recent Bosman signing Hugo Rodallega was not in the squad after his recent arrival from Wigan Athletic.
However, the second-half side were also unable to trouble their opponents, with John Arne Riise and Petric both coming close, but were ultimately unable to break the deadlock.
On Wednesday the Cottagers take on FC Lokomotive Leipzig, before concluding their German tour with a clash with FC Kaiserslautern next Saturday.
Clashes with Wycombe, Charlton and the MK Dons await Fulham on their return to the UK before they begin their Premier League campaign with a home clash with Norwich City.
