Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has announced the 11 players that will start in the friendly game against Standard Liege on Tuesday evening.
Speaking at a press conference, Mourinho took the time to discuss the synergy in the Blancos dressing room, saying: "We still aren't a team tactically speaking, but our attitude can't be any better. That is where we are a team."
When asked about the latest injury crisis at Real Madrid, Mourinho rubbished having any shortage in defensive options.
"We have a great defence and we don't find ourselves in a worrisome situation," he declared.
In anticipation for tomorrow night's clash against Standard Liege, Mourinho revealed the players that he will select to start the match.
"The team that will start against Standard Liege is: Casillas, Arbeloa, Albiol, Ramos, Drenthe, Granero, Gago, Lass, Van der Vaart, Benzema, Higuain," he told the club's official website.
Spanish publication AS believe that Mourinho is eager to try the Benzema-Higuain strike partnership to see the compatibility of the two forwards, whereas Granero could be given a role down the right wing.
