Manchester United legend Sir Bobby Charlton gives Javier Hernandez seal of approval
Record goalscorer sure Mexican will be success...
By Matt Monaghan
Hernandez, 22, met up with his new team-mates for the first time this week after recovering from his star turn at World Cup 2010. The Mexico striker is expected to make his debut in the early hours of tomorrow morning against the Major League Soccer All-Stars in Houston.
Speaking to Sky Sports News, Charlton admitted he cannot wait to see Hernandez play in red.
"I think he's going to be great. I'm really excited about him," Charlton said.
"I've seen him play and I know his capabilities. He seems made for Manchester United.
"[He can use] his right foot, or left foot, a really strong player."
