thumbnail Hello,

Goal difference is likely to separate top spot between Laurent Blanc's side and Roy Hodgson's men but the co-hosts remain in the hunt for a spot in the last eight

EURO2012
GROUP D PERMUTATIONS

England, France and co-hosts Ukraine all have a chance of making it to the quarter-final stage as we embark on the final round of group matches.

Laurent Blanc's men take on Sweden, who have already been eliminated, and will top Group D if they secure victory and hold a better goal difference than England, who are in action against Ukraine. A draw for the French would also see them progress.

Roy Hodgson's men followed their 1-1 draw against Les Bleus with a narrow 3-2 victory over Sweden to sit second in the group. Should England win or draw against Ukraine, they will move into the last eight of the competition, but will require a better goal difference than France in order to top the group.

As we enter the final straight of the group stages, Goal.com presents all the various scenarios and potential outcomes for Group D ...
