TEAM NEWS: Rosenberg to partner Ibrahimovic in attack for Sweden

Johan Elmander returned to training on Saturday but has lost his place in the starting XI to the Werder Bremen striker, while Andreas Granqvist gets the nod in defence
Markus Rosenberg will start alongside Zlatan Ibrahimovic in attack for Sweden in their Euro 2012 opener against Ukraine.

Johan Elmander returned to training after recovering from a fractured foot on Saturday but coach Erik Hamren has elected to hand Rosenberg the striker's role.

The fact that Elmander is left out of the starting lineup will no doubt rock the Swedish squad. The media will start sharpening their knives in case of a defeat to Ukraine saying that Erik Hamren should never have included Elmander in the squad but instead given the chance to high-flying John Guidetti.
Joining Ibrahimovic in support of the Werder Bremen striker are Sunderland midfielder Sebastian Larsson and PSV Eindhoven forward Ola Toivonen.

In midfield, Rasmus Elm is preferred to Anders Svensson alongside Kim Kallstrom, while Andreas Granqvist gets the nod over West Bromwich Albion defender Jonas Olsson at centre-back.

Blackburn Rovers left-back Martin Olsson starts, with Mikael Lustig opposite him on the right flank and Olof Mellberg paired with Granqvist at the heart of defence.

Andreas Isaksson, as expected, starts in goal.

Sweden team to face Ukraine (4-2-3-1):
Isaksson; Lustig, Mellberg, Granqvist, Martin Olsson; Elm, Kallstrom; Larsson, Ibrahimovic, Toivonen; Rosenberg.
