The Chelsea duo was not included in national team coach Vicente Del Bosque's original squad as they still had club obligations, but have now been called up to the provisional list
Spain coach Vicente del Bosque has added Fernando Torres and Juan Mata to his provisional squad for Euro 2012.Del Bosque announced his pre-selection for this summer's tournament earlier this month, but did not include any Barcelona, Chelsea or Athletic Bilbao players in his roster as they still had club obligations.
However, Torres and Mata have now been included in the provisional list after completing their commitments with Chelsea following their Champions League final win over Bayern Munich, and will now join the rest of the squad for the training camp in Austria on May 25.
Del Bosque will add players from Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao to the group after the Copa del Rey final, before announcing his final squad on May 27.
Spain start Euro 2012 with the Group C match against Italy on June 10, before taking on Republic of Ireland and Croatia.
