The Arsenal boss has joined others in stating that the vacant Three Lions' job needs to be filled sooner rather than later and also gives a new update on Jack Wilshere’s progress
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger believes that the FA need to hire a permanent England manager as soon as possible.Members of the selection committee have confirmed that Fabio Capello's successor will not be named until the end of the Premeir League season and, while the Frenchman agrees with the decision to not interfere and potentially cause harm to a club's season, he thinks that a decision is urgently required.
“I don't know their plan completely, I think they have been taken by surprise a bit with Capello going," Wenger told reporters.
“They are now in a difficult situation and the sooner they sort it out, the better it is.
“But it is not easy for the federation [FA] at the moment because they do not want to interfere with what is going on in the Premier League. You can understand that.”

“The latest on Jack Wilshere is positive, but cautious. That means he is doing well in training and is getting stronger every week,” the Gunners boss explained.
“At the moment it is too difficult to say he will play in the Euros.
“You cannot rule it out, but as well you cannot say with certainty he will be fit and available before the end of the season.”
