Should England boss Fabio Capello take Chelsea’s John Terry to Euro 2012 with race charge still to be decided?

On Tuesday, it was announced the 31-year-old will not face trial until July 9, eight days after the final in Poland & Ukraine. How should this affect his Three Lions chances?

With the announcement that England captain John Terry's trial for allegedy racially abusing QPR defender Anton Ferdinand will not take place until July 9, the Chelsea defender will now be available to feature at Euro 2012.

The tournament kick's off in Warsaw on June 8 before reaching its climax in Kiev on July 1, meaning the outcome of the 31-year-old's race trial will not be known until after Poland and Ukraine.

No doubt as the competition nears and the debate over who Fabio Capello should include his squad heats up, plenty of attention will fall on Terry's shoulders.

Should the Italian abide by 'innocent until proven guilty' and take the defender to Euro 2012? And if so, should Terry retain the captain's armband?
