French Football Federation president Noel Le Graet has indicated that he wants Laurent Blanc to remain as France coach on the condition that the upcoming Euro 2012 campaign is a success.

Blanc has revitalised the France side after their infamous 2010 World Cup campaign, and supposing his campaign in Poland and Ukraine goes well, Le Graet wants the 46-year-old to continue in his current post.

"I want him to stay on the condition that Euro 2012 is goes well in a sporting sense," Le Graet told Canal +.

"In any case, I don't want to call any Tom, Dick or Harry and say: 'Wait, the position will be free'."

Blanc's current contract in charge of the national side is due to expire after the championships, and the former Bordeaux man has already indicated he would like a new deal agreed beforehand.

France have been drawn against England, Ukraine and Sweden, and start their Euro 2012 campaign on June 11 against Fabio Capello's side.
