William Hill are offering an intriguing market that gives punter's a great chance to make some money on next summer's showcase football event.

Picking the finalists has its advantages and disadvantages, one team under-performing will ruin your whole bet but on the other hand, the opportunities to win big are certainly there.

The most obvious option to back would surely be Spain/Germany - given that they are probably the two best sides in the world at the moment and were statistically the strongest qualifiers.

Both nations can boast some of the best strength in depth too, meaning that injuries are significantly less likely to derail their challenges. The price is 9.0

Of course, according to the Fifa rankings, the best two sides on the planet are Spain and the Netherlands, and if the Euro 2012 final was a repeat of the World Cup showdown from Soccer City in 2010, then the price is 17.0

The problem with picking such obvious choices is that they can be upset by teams being drawn on the same side of the tournament tree - Spain and Germany could even be in the same group!

Therefore it may be safer to back another team to surprise, especially when you look at the history of nations overturning the odds in this competition like the Czech Republic, who reached the final in 1996 or Greece, who triumphed in 2004.

The hosts are always worth a shout, and being seeded in Pot 1 will significantly strengthen their claim. With a whole crop of exciting youngsters like Konoplyanka, Yarmolenka, Rakitskyi, and Stepanenko making their way into the squad, and vociferous home support, Ukraine are an interesting proposition at 100/1 to meet Germany in the final or 150/1 to meet England.

Nordic punters feeling optimistic can opt for a Sweden/Denmark final at 1000/1 with an unlikely Republic of Ireland/Ukraine clash trading at the same price.

Euro 2012 - Name the finalists (William Hill)
Spain/Germany @ 9.0
Holand/Germany @ 13.0
Spain/Holland @ 17.0
England/Spain @ 21.0
Germany/Italy @ 21.0
