thumbnail Hello,

Fabio Capello has handed starts to Scott Parker, Darren Bent and Ashley Young in his England team to play Wales at the Millennium Stadium.

There is no place in the line-up for Gareth Barry, who does not even make the substitutes bench with his place in the side being taken by Scott Parker.

England are expected to start in a 4-3-3 formation, with a front three of Young, Bent and Wayne Rooney, with Bent expected to lead the line down the middle.

Meanwhile Michael Dawson will continue to partner re-appointed captain John Terry in the centre of defence in the absence of Rio Ferdinand.

Wales are expected to go with a 4-4-1-1 formation in Gary Speed's first competitive game in charge of the national side.

Craig Bellamy will sit behind Millwall's Steve Morison in attack with newly appointed captain Aaron Ramsey in the middle of the park alongside Andrew Crofts.

Wales: Hennessey; Gunter, Williams, J.Collins, D.Collins; King, Ramsey, Crofts, Ledley; Bellamy; Morison. Subs: Myhill, Eardley, Gabbidon, Vaughan, Allen, Church, Evans

England: Hart; Johnson, Terry, Dawson, Cole ; Parker, Lampard, Wilshere; Young, Bent, Rooney. Subs: Green, Jagielka, Lescott, Milner, Downing, Defoe, Carroll.
