Alexis will outperform Fabregas, say Goal readers

The two players will both grace the Premier League after leaving Barcelona, with voters in our poll expecting the Chile international to have the biggest impact this season

Arsenal look to have pulled off the signing of the summer so far after capturing Chile international Alexis Sanchez from Barcelona in a £31.8 million deal.

The forward follows former team-mate Cesc Fabregas to London, after the Spain international signed for Chelsea in a reported £30m deal in June.

Alexis scored 19 goals last season for the Catalan giants while Fabregas recorded the second-most assists in La Liga, behind only Angel Di Maria.

However, Goal readers feel that the new Arsenal man will be the better performer in the Premier League with 78.8 per cent backing the Chile star to outperform his Chelsea rival.

Just 21.3% believe that Fabregas will not be overshadowed by the new Arsenal man, with the former Gunner set for his second spell in English football.
