Readers have voted for the French midfielder's penalty shootout winner over Manchester United in 2005, before leaving the club, as their most memorable moment in the competition
Patrick Vieira's trophy-winning penalty for Arsenal against Manchester United in 2005 has been voted Goal readers' FA Cup final dream moment.
Goal asked readers to pick their favourite moment from the competition over the last 35 years, dating from Ricky Villa's solo effort for Tottenham against Manchester City in 1981 right up to Ben Watson's dramatic late header against the Etihad Stadium outfit in 2013.
Steven Gerrard's sensational strike against West Ham came in a close second, while Eric Cantona's winner for Manchester United against Liverpool in 1996 wasn't far behind.
But it was Vieira's final competitive kick for the Gunners, earning 28.4 per cent of the votes, which proved to be Goal readers' favourite moment.
That FA Cup win in 2005 was Arsenal's last taste of silverware, but they will have the chance to lift the same trophy again on Saturday when they face Hull City at Wembley Stadium.
