The Blaugrana host the Rojiblancos in La Liga on Wednesday and Goal takes a look at the players who could start the Camp Nou clash
Barcelona are set to be without Samuel Umtiti for the visit of Atletico Madrid in the Primera Division on Wednesday, but with the exception of the France defender, coach Luis Enrique is expected to field his strongest side.
The absence of summer signing Umtiti, who picked up an injury in training on Tuesday, means Javier Mascherano is likely to start alongside Gerard Pique in central defence, with those two flanked by Sergi Roberto on the right and Jordi Alba on the left.
In midfield, Sergio Busquets will return after he was rested for the weekend win at Leganes, with Andres Iniesta and Ivan Rakitic set to feature from the outset against Diego Simeone's side.
Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar will all start in attack.
For Atletico, Antoine Griezmann and Kevin Gameiro will be paired together in attack after hitting three of the team's five goals at home to Sporting Gijon on Saturday, while Fernando Torres will wait for an opportunity from the bench.
Simeone must decide between the creativity of Yannick Ferreira Carrascoor the extra muscle of Augusto Fernandez on the left , but the Belgian is likely to get the nod alongside Gabi, Koke and Saul in a four-man midfield.
In defence, Juanfran and Filipe Luis will feature in the full-back positions, with Diego Godin and Stefan Savic likely to be paired together in the centre in what will be a busy night for the Atleti back line and also goalkeeper Jan Oblak.
