The Real Madrid coach believes his Barcelona counterpart has done well since moving to the Catalan club in the summer and says he likes the Argentine's calm demeanour
Martino has been heavily criticised in the wake of his side's 3-1 defeat against Real Sociedad in La Liga on Saturday, but Ancelotti believes the Argentine is doing a fine job at Camp Nou.
In an interview with Canal Plus to be broadcast on Wednesday in Spain, the Italian said: "He is doing very well. I like the way he speaks. He is always relaxed."
And the 54-year-old added: "He never gets involved with controversy, he just does the best for his team."
Many in Catalunya may disagree with that last statement, however, after their 3-1 loss in San Sebastian on Saturday night.
That defeat saw Madrid move top of the table for the first time since winning the Primera Division in 2011-12 under Jose Mourinho and Ancelotti's side are now unbeaten in 26 games since losing the Clasico at Camp Nou in late October.
