thumbnail Hello,

The forward was pleased with los Blancos' win over Granada on Saturday and believes the Primera Liga title chasers will further improve in the next few months

Cristiano Ronaldo believes that Real Madrid will only get better in the months ahead as the race for La Liga hots up.

Los Blancos beat Granada 2-0 on Saturday evening to temporarily go top of the Primera Division table ahead of Sunday's games, and the Portuguese star is optimistic about his side's chances of winning silverware this campaign.

"We are playing well and we feel confident. We have to improve in some areas, but it was a great match," Ronaldo was quoted as saying on the club's official website.

"The team looks good and we are getting better all the time. Towards the end of the season I am convinced that things will keep getting better."

The Portugal international then went on to discuss the situation of Radamel Falcao, and feels the Colombian striker's knee injury is bad news for football in general.

"It is bad news for the world of football. Radamel is a friend and I am sad for him.

"I am sure that things will go well for him. He has been operated on by a great Portuguese doctor and I am sure that he will recover sooner."

Falcao went under the knife on Saturday and is unlikely to be match fit in time for the 2014 World Cup.
