thumbnail Hello,

Our La Liga expert Phil Kitromilides believes los Boquerones will be able to find the back of the net in each half when they take on a poor Osasuna team at La Rosaleda Stadium

After starting the season with back-to-back defeats Malaga are now unbeaten in five games and have an excellent chance of extending that run at home to Osasuna on Friday night.

Bernd Schuster's side are priced at 4/7 (1.57) by Paddy Power to claim their thirst successive home win, while an unlikely away victory for the visitors from Pamplona is offered at 5/1 (6.00). The draw is an 11/4 (3.75).

Osasuna though, are on an awful run with six defeats out of seven matches played so far this season and no clean sheets. They have already changed manager with Mendilibar being replaced by the man who won promotion for Almeria last season, Javi Gracia.

Often when a side change managers there is a little bounce, an upsurge in results with a new impetus. This has not happened for Osasuna.

They are badly lacking in confidence and Malaga have the firepower upfront to exploit this having netted 11 goals in their last five games.

Backing Malaga to score over 1.5 goals looks a nailed on selection but at 4/6 (1.65) it is just too small.

Instead backing them to score in both halves at 6/4 (2.50) looks a much better option at a more attractive price.

This bet has paid out in three of Malaga's last five games and against a leaky Osasuna defence punters should be confident of backing the hosts to net in each half.
