Following their narrow 3-2 victory over Valencia the Brazilian says he expects the Blaugrana to continue to improve and adds that he is nearing full fitnessNeymar says Barcelona will only further improve over the course of the season following their 3-2 away win over Valencia on Sunday.
A Lionel Messi hat-trick gave the Catalans a three-goal lead before the break, but Helder Postiga netted twice in the closing stages of the first half to help Valencia back in the game.
Barcelona held on to record their third league win of the season, though, and Neymar believes they will only get better.
"I’m sure that the whole team will improve both physically and tactically throughout the season," the Brazil international was quoted as saying on the club's official website.
"Our intensity dropped a bit at the end of the first half and we conceded two goals. We have to correct that in the next match.
"I’m feeling better physically little by little, but I need to improve throughout the season."
Neymar has made three appearances in La Liga so far, but has yet to score his first league goal for Barca.
