The midfielder realises he is in a privileged position playing alongside the world's best and insists he will not be leaving the club anytime soonAlexandre Song says he is lucky to be at Barcelona as he is able to play with stars like Lionel Messi, quashing rumours of a summer exit from Camp Nou.
The Cameroon international joined Barca from Arsenal in the summer of 2012, but has struggled to secure regular first-team football in his first season with the Blaugrana.
Nevertheless, a summer transfer is not an option for the 25-year-old as he insists he is at the best club in the world.
"It's a pleasure to be here at Barcelona. Many players would want to be part of this club, so I know that I'm lucky to be here," Song told Sky Sports.
"Arsenal and Barcelona are different. Arsenal have some great players, but Barca have the best in Lionel Messi.
"I am not saying that Arsenal do not have quality players, because they do. Barcelona are the best team in the world, though."
Song has a contract with Barca until the summer of 2017.
