The attacker sees the upcoming fixtures away to Rayo Vallecano and Real Sociedad as crucial to Los Boquerones' ambitions as they fight to keep up pace with both Madrid clubs
The 19-year-old, who is on-loan from Chelsea, was also critical of his own display in their last league game against Espanyol, with los Boquerones suffering a hugely disappointing 2-0 defeat at La Rosaleda.
"I didn't play well at all last weekend. I started off poorly and lost confidence the longer the game went on," Piazon told reporters.
The Brazilian teenager also feels that the international break has come at a good time for the Champions League quarter-finalists, allowing the team to return refreshed and in a more positive frame of mind.
He continued: "These two weeks will allow us to recuperate to ensure we're in the best possible shape for the next game.
"I think we need time off to relax, it's important with such a heavy schedule. We've got two days off to unwind and spend time with family, which is great."
Malaga currently lie in sixth place in the league table, three points adrift of fourth-placed Sociedad.
