The 1970 World Cup winner has nothing but positive words for the Spain internationals, and believes the duo make the difference for Barcelona
The 66-year-old feels the two midfielders often make the difference for the Catalans with their quick thinking, and believes their intelligence is a rare treat in modern football.
"Iniesta and Xavi think fast; like Brazilians. And that gives their teams an advantage," Rivelino was quoted as saying by Marca.
"They pass and pass and pass, and suddenly pick out spaces for the forwards with great precision. They're always doing something different.
"The last player I saw play with that intelligence was Zidane. They know what they are going to do before the ball gets to their feet. And that's like gold in football."
Rivelino made over 100 international appearances for the Selecao during his playing days.
