'Spain is like Disney compared to Argentina' - Simeone

The Atletico Madrid boss has laughed off comments about the aggression of supporters in La Liga and believes that going to a stadium is similar to a trip to a theatre
Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone has stated that going to watch football in Spain is a far more pleasant than in Argentina.

The former midfielder was dismissive over claims that some fans are often destructive and some chants are too offensive towards players due to the nature of the game in his homeland.

"Aggression? Do you know what is like in Argentina? Here going to football is like going to the theatre. This is Disney," He told Marca.

Simeone went on to rule out the possibility of his team underestimating Copa del Rey opponents Real Jaen on Wednesday as they look to go far in the tournament.

''This competition is a tournament with history for Atletico. We will take care and give it the respect it deserves.

"We do it with deeds and not with words, we will do our talking on the pitch. Jaen are not a rival to be underestimated and we will take the game as the above."

Atletico are currently second in La Liga with only goal difference separating them from leaders Barcelona.
