'The investment will continue' - Malaga chairman happy with team's exploits

The Andalusian club have been in fine form so far this season both in domestic and European fixtures, leaving the Spanish side's supremo more enthused than ever
Malaga chairman Sheikh Abdullah Al-Thani has promised to continue investing in the club after thoroughly enjoying their wonderful start to the campaign.

Los Boquerones sit third in La Liga table with 17 points, whilst simultaneously running away with Group C in the UEFA Champions League as the only team yet to concede in the competition.

Despite losing the likes of Santi Cazorla and Salomon Rondon during a tumutluous summer, players such as Nacho Monreal, Isco and Martin Demichelis have stepped up to make a real impact.

Speaking after his side's 1-0 triumph over Serie A heavyweights AC Milan on Wednesday, the Qatari billionaire told Canal+: "We have invested and will continue to do so for the future.

"I want to congratulate the fans, the players, the coach and everyone who has seen this game," he said.
